Sunday Mornings
by Miss TL
On Sunday mornings, we offer programming for infants through kids in grade 5.  Kids are divided kids into the following groups so that we can provide age-appropriate teaching, music, discipling and activities, all in a fun way for each age group and developmental stage.

                                                     Early Childhood

- "Seedlings": infants through unsteady walkers, in rooms N1 & N2 (in the nursery area)

- "Sprouts": steady walkers through their 4th birthday, in room N3 (in the nursery area)

                                                          Primary

- "Grasshoppers": Jr. & Sr. kindergarten, or 4&5 yrs. of age (in the Grasshoppers room)

- "Explorers": Grades 1-3 (in the Exploration Station)

- "TURBO": Grades 4&5 (in the Fireside Room) **Grades 4&5 program only happens during the first service**

                                                            Sign-in and Sign-out (Primary)

Here's what should happen on any given Sunday morning, during the first service for families with children in grades 1-5:

- Family is greeted at one entrance to the Growzone wing, where they will be asked to "sign-in".

- Parent/guardian writes each child's name, any information that a caregiver should know (e.g. allergies, medical or behavioural concerns), and initials in.  Also, if there are specific release instructions (such as a person other than a parent picking up the child), they should be written here as well.

- Parent/guardian will be issued a numbered tag-- one tag per family.  Should a Growzone leader need to get a hold of a parent/guardian during the service, the number on the tag will be displayed just above the exit in the sanctuary that is to the left of the platform.

- Parent/guardian brings kids to their respective rooms.  At this point, parent says a friendly good-bye, and leaves to enjoy the "adult service" in the sanctuary.  IF the child has any medical, behavioural or allergy concerns, the parent should connect with a designated room leader in the class, to relay any information.

                                                   AFTER THE SERVICE

- Parent/guardian comes back to the welcome station where they signed in, and shows the numbered tag to the greeter.  The numbered tag lets the greeters know that this person is responsible for the respective child(ren).  Parent/guardian proceeds to the specific room, or rooms where their child(ren) were dropped off.

- Parent/guardian returns to the same welcome desk where they signed-in, to initial their child(ren) out, and return the numbered tag.

- Families go home to have a great Sunday afternoon!
